As part of a strategic portfolio focus, Carlo von Reyher is ending his operational involvement in the education platform Korrektur Kumpel. The move marks a deliberate prioritisation of entrepreneurial resources and underlines a clear commitment to scalable, product-driven platform development under the umbrella of Von Reyher Media.
Context: Korrektur Kumpel
Korrektur Kumpel is a digital platform for the automated assessment of student work. Its goal is to relieve teachers through AI-assisted analysis, including handwriting recognition, personalised feedback and curriculum integration. The project addresses core challenges in the education system and holds meaningful market potential.
Reasons for the Exit
The exit takes place in agreement with the project team and follows a fresh entrepreneurial assessment. The decisive factors were:
- Differing views on the long-term direction and strategic positioning
- An insufficient fit between the effort invested and the structural share of ownership
- The need to concentrate capacity on our own growth-oriented platforms
This decision reflects clear prioritisation and was made with long-term impact in mind.
